Blog block

I usually have so many blog entries floating around in my head but lately there has been nothing.  So today I have random thoughts and random pics.

I was watching CNN at the gym and Sarah Palin was giving a speech in which she addressed the audience as "guys and gals."  She later referred to her husband as the "first dude."  OK...this is out of control.  She is actually kind of sexy until she opens her mouth.  Do people really like her?  I know I'm going to wake up from this nightmare.  If McCain wins I think we will have to flee the country.  I'm over being pissed that Hilary is not the Democratic candidate, I am over not liking Obama.  Obviously, we can't afford to NOT vote for Obama.  If any of the above offends you....to bad!

This economy is crazy.  What a scary time.  How is the average person supposed to make it.  I'm glad I'm in a recession proof profession.

I love my girls so much but I am feeling them grow up to fast.  I couldn't sleep last night because I couldn't quit thinking about how one day soon Syd won't sit in my lap and jump into my arms and think I am the best thing since sliced bread.  And Layne?  She is not a baby anymore....what happened?  BTW, she went pee pee on the potty tonight....all by herself!!!!  No, we aren't training her she is just ready.  I'm going to miss these girls when they get to cool for me.

Are we ever going to get pregnant?  I mean, a year and a half of trying....I just want a baby already.  We need to get this show on the road.  Layne is done nursing so Mere is going to start Clomid this month.  We have an appt w/ the RE doc on Oct 17th.....oh crap....not that again!

I love our new friends.  They are the perfect family for us.....it is cool to meet people and feel so comfortable from the start.

My sister seems to be growing up and getting it together......I like it.

I'm back to running again and it feels so good.  I hope this sticks.

And, now for random pics:

I went to Syd's school for lunch last week and we had so much fun.  Some pics of our lunch:

I agree with you on the first paragraph, even the parts about Hillary and Obama. The whole thing makes me sick to my stomach.

And also about being thankful for being in a recession proof profession. We are very lucky. I think a lot about my kids daycare teachers and how hard these gas prices are on people like them - who don't make a lot of money. It makes me very sad.

(shouting from the rafters) I agree!

Ya know... I kinda find Palin sexy myself... and then she talks. I like her voice. I thought the speech writer did a fab job writing her speech for the RNC. I thought she did great executing it. I didn't really agree with it, but I thought it was really good otherwise. And now... now that she doesn't have a speech writer monitoring everything coming out of her mouth it is awful. We are all like... did she really just say that? Well, I really hope it is to our benefit!

And yeah... Hillary had my vote. But really, McCain so isn't an option.

I WISH I were in a recession proof profession. Probably too late to change, eh? LOL

Take care!

Don't forget the chances of McCain dropping dead and leaving that woman in charge are pretty high.

I'm voting for Obama's wife.

Cute pictures. Good luck with the clomid.

I agree. Michelle is one classy lady. Palin, not so much. I think she is an idiot. I mean, her daughter is pregnant and she still believes in abstenance only education.

anyway, my friend meghan and I are training for the Memphis half if you are interested. Our program started last week, but this week is almost a carbon copy. I hear that half is a lot of fun.
